apparently it's a firefox issue and sites can't access clipboard.readText()

no it's not other sites allow ctrl+v to paste, you just can't use the (custom) context menu; definitely the case of google not wanting to support firefox

yeah, i had a problem with it not allowing clipboard access even when using keyboard shortcuts, but it appears that i am just a dummy

its related to security measures, webpages shouldn't access your clipboard, because it could contain sensitive data
